Sophia has been fascinated by visual arts since her early youth. Her business career, which began as a secretary, progressed to executive secretary at multi-national level and thereafter developed into public relations and finance, took priority until her mid-forties. Thereafter she started actively working as an expressive artist.

Sophia’s inspiration:
Inspirational sources are nature and travel, often in far away places. Searching for the essence in her surroundings and discovering the natural balance in her subject results in an energy freely flowing into the finished work of art.

Sophia and society:
Artists, through the manifestation of their art, often have an important effect on society by giving people the ability to view or experience things differently.
