One of the 7 Wonders of the World is the Statue of Zeus.
It was the masterpiece of Phidias the Athenian Sculptor, responsible for the frieze of the Parthenon and the Statue of Athena within it in about 430 BC. A seated figure of the Statue was covered in ivory, gold and semiprecious stones.
